Develop scientific content, in the therapeutic area of immuno-oncology, in response to request for proposals (RFPs) to take client requirements and turn them into an actionable proposal highlighting the value that partnering with Precision brings. About You: Researching emerging scientific trends in immuno-oncology and clinical trial space is exciting to you You are an expert at designing experiments that fit the client's needs You are an effective communicator and take pride in the detail, accuracy and quality of your work You are a talented writer with the ability to engage clients and interpret requirements on scientific content You enjoy working cross functionally with various internal groups, collaborating and gathering information to support a well-organized proposal process Essential duties include but are not limited to: Development of scientific content/proposal in response to request for proposals (RFPs) for biotech and pharma Use your scientific knowledge and experience to take client methods/SOPs and client requirements and turn them into an actionable proposal with detailed labor and materials budgets, timelines and sufficient scientific detail that the client appreciates the value that partnering with Precision brings Delivery of proposal and budgets within 10 business days or less. Identification of the best technology/protocols to solve the client's needs Design of experiments to solve the client's needs, such that the work is sufficiently scoped out that the client is happy and the extent of the work is detailed enough to allow for accurate budgeting and resourcing of scientific and technical support staff. Use your experience running a laboratory or leading scientific projects to determine amount of resource and project timeline required to execute a proposal Review of RFPs and clinical trial protocols to identify opportunities for Precision Laboratory Services. Clearly communicate assay opportunities from RFP reviews and client's calls to internal stake holders Research the science required to deliver laboratory services requested in the RFPs/client teleconferences. Obtain relevant information and quotes from third-party vendors on assays, reagents and materials. Consolidate, write, edit and rewrite scientific content from a proposal into a Statement of Work (SOW) including budgets, timelines and supportive documentation for client approval. Engage clients and interpret requirements on scientific content. Liaise with Business Development (BD) Proposals team and Senior Scientific and Operations staff to support a well-organized proposals process. Liaise with BD Sales team on client engagement serving as subject matter expert (SME). Work closely with Scientific Leadership across sites to keep up to date on all scientific activities and projects in the laboratories. Work closely with Finance Team to provide detailed budget on all laboratory-based assays. Qualifications: Minimum Required: Ph.D. in Immunology, Cancer Biology, Cell and Molecular Biology or related. Other Required: 5-7 years of post-doctoral research experience. Experience in immuno-oncology or immunology clinical research field or other related translational biology work. Ability to listen to a client's research or technical needs and propose appropriate solutions and assays. Comfort writing and talking across multiple scientific disciplines. Demonstrated ability to write and edit scientific/technical content. Strong analytical, interpersonal and clear communication skills, and ability to multi-task. Knowledgeable about scientific trends in academia and industry. Comfortable managing numerous client engagements simultaneously and independently defining priorities based on goals and objectives. Self-motivated, results oriented professional, who enjoys partnering across functions to execute on strategic priorities. Demonstrated ability to work independently
