JOB SUMMARY The Manager, Marketing Strategy is a member of the Marketing Strategy and Performance team within the Global Marketing Optimization organization. This team is a key leader in the broader Global Marketing organization, stewarding the Marketing Strategy Framework and measurement against key marketing activities. This includes guiding efforts in partnership with other marketing leaders around the world to unify go-to-market efforts for Brand, Global Marketing and continents through a consumer-centric approach. The Manager plays a key role supporting the development, application, and evolution of the Marketing Strategy Framework and associated Measurement framework (in partnership with Customer Experience (CX) Marketing Analytics teams). This includes liaisoning across disciplines, continent Marketing teams and the Paid Media Center of Excellence (COE) to deliver the Global Marketing Plan and supporting scorecard as well as establishing cross-discipline annual marketing planning processes. Additionally, this role will work with the Paid Media COE to ensure marketing and media plans align with the Marketing Strategy Framework and support key business KPIs such as brand health, loyalty and revenue generation. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major OR 5+years of relevant professional experience in marketing strategy development and planning or related function, project management and demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Managing Marketing Planning Activities Partners with Senior Director, Marketing Strategy + Performance to develop agenda and content for Global Marketing leadership meetings, including connecting with Marketing leaders across Brand, Global Marketing and continents for content development. Supports marketing strategy and planning by working with Strategy team, Brand, Loyalty & Continent leaders, and the Media Center of Excellence. Serves as liaison for Marketing Strategy and Performance team with the Global Paid Media Center of Excellence to connect marketing strategies to media planning. Helps synchronize internal and cross agency planning process where needed. Leads process to consolidate key deliverables to develop the annual Global Marketing Plan and scorecard in partnership with Senior Director, Marketing Strategy + Performance. Co-leads marketing calendar and owned channels prioritization process with other Marketing Strategy + Performance team members. Responsible for synthesizing and integrating information from a variety of stakeholders to develop executive level presentations and communications. Co-leads meeting facilitation with Senior Director, Marketing Strategy + Performance, including developing and managing meeting agenda and action items. Managing Performance Activities Partners with Senior Director, Marketing Strategy + Performance and CX to manage marketing measurement approach, including managing scorecard(s) and MBO reporting at executive level. Leads development of marketing investment measurement tools and executive level reporting. Responsible for managing annual MBO consolidation across BMSC teams to inform annual measurement approach and scorecard(s). Responsible for deliverables, including reporting, to support executive leadership presentations. Manages additional responsibilities and ad hoc projects as assigned.
