LPI is recruiting an Attorney Recruiting Assistant/Coordinator for a Washington, DC law firm to support firm-wide lateral attorney recruitment efforts with administrative and logistical coverage. This is a temporary position lasting until the end of September. The Attorney Recruiting Assistant/Coordinator's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; coordinating conference room set-ups and catering requests; sending reminders throughout the summer program regarding mentor meetings, work product, and the completion of evaluations; tracking and maintaining finished work products binders for each summer associate; prepping OCI binders as the materials are complete and available; assisting with escorting interview candidates from interview to interview, if needed; possible travel and assistance during Summer Associate Program evening events; and performing special projects as assigned. Responsibilities require strong written and oral communication skills, a high degree of discretion and confidentiality, good judgment, tact and poise. Major challenges of this position include the diverse nature of the responsibilities, effective communication of information to key personnel in a timely, accurate and sensitive fashion and adhering to multiple project demands at one time. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of various types of technology such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as recruiting software. The successful candidate will have minimum of two years of recruiting experience at a law firm or other professional services firm. A college degree is required for this position.
