As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will own the talent acquisition function at THOR Solutions from start to finish. You're a player-coach who will be responsible for managing recruiting operations as well as the creation and execution of comprehensive recruiting strategy and procedure, while also recruiting for top talent. The role's focus will be to develop and implement best practices that foster the creation of talent pipelines to drive results and ROI in all recruiting related activities while continuing to promote THOR Solutions' reputation for excellence. This role is based in Arlington, Virginia and reports to our CFO/FSO. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Work with recruiting team and recruiting stakeholders to create a recruitment strategy that aligns with the current and projected goals of the company as a whole Lead and mentor the recruiting team so that THOR can continue to attract and retain top talent while promoting company brand Partner with the Business Development team, Division Managers, and HR to prioritize strategic and urgent roles for the recruiting team in order to meet hiring goals and maximize the efficiency Track and impact the performance of all recruiting related activities through metrics in our enterprise ATS in order to regularly and concisely communicate activity to senior leaders Constantly evaluate recruiting tools and practices to drive process and system improvements that fit the size and growth of the company Maintain and grow talent market and network expertise, including comprehensive understanding of industry trends and competitor/subcontractor activity in order to educate senior leaders and colleagues Partner with HR team to ensure compliance in recruiting and hiring practices company-wide JOB REQUIREMENTS Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Bachelors Degree 10+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, especially at a Federal Civilian Agency supporting the DoD, US Navy, and/or US Coast Guard 5+ years team management experience with a history of success and innovation Strong written and oral communication with respect to leadership and building a high-performing, cohesive team Experience in creating/executing talent acquisition strategies, processes, and evaluating recruiting tools against results Experience developing campaigns and recruiting strategies, especially for a growing company Ability to create and maintain a strong network of working relationships and talent pipelines
