The incumbent of this position serves as Deputy Director, Forensics Division with full responsibility for assisting the Director, Forensics Division in providing management and oversight of all of the forensic psychiatric services provided to forensic consumers at the courts and Saint Elizabeth's Hospital (SEH). Administrative responsibilities include responsibility for the efficient management of resources to ensure that DBH maintains compliance with all court mandates and the provision of oversight of all forensic programs within DBH. Area of Consideration: Open to the Public Tour of Duty: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Duration of Appointment: MANAGEMENT SUPERVISORY SERVICE (MSS “AT-WILL”) “AT WILL” EMPLOYMENT APPLIES TO THE MANAGEMENT SUPERVISORY SERVICES (MSS). ALL POSITIONS AND APPOINTMENTS IN THE MSS SERVE “AT THE PLEASURE OF THE APPOINTING AUTHORITY” AND MAY BE TERMINATED AT ANY TIME WITHOUT CAUSE. Salary Range: $113,940 - $159,515 per annum First Screening: 06/11/2018 Qualification Requirement: Satisfactory completion by the American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral program (Ph.D. or Psy.D) in clinical or counseling psychology and an (APA) accredited clinical internship. This position requires one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level. In addition to the qualifications requirements the Applicant must be a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the District of Columbia through the Department of Health.
