Chief Information Officer
Serves as Chief Information Officer for Department of Behavioral Health (DBH)/Administrative Operations Administration. Responsible for providing expert leadership and management of the day-to-day operations of the DBH Information Technology program in design, implementation and support of complex computer applications to meet department requirements. Makes major decisions affecting the organizational structure and design of IT operations, which includes; services that should be provided, establishing IT policies and procedures, short and long term IT strategies, operations, and financial plans and objectives. Serves as a member of the executive staff team, participates in policy meetings and conference; provides advice on IT policies and procedures and on IT concepts, principles, methods, and practices. Provides oversight and direction of the IT department vision and staff activities via subordinate supervisors; issues policy guidance; determines program goals, resources needs, and allocation of resources in conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer. Responsible for staff selections, grievances, performance evaluations, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution.
