We are seeking a highly motivated individual that can play the role of Finance System & Reporting Analyst, someone who will excel in the space where IT and Finance intersect. The Finance Analyst position offers opportunities to assess the Company from an integrated point of view, while driving better business partnering and insights. You will be considered an influential member within the finance organization and a key contributor to telling the Company's business story internally and to the investment community. Expectations are for you to influence the organization through the development of tools for the FP&A organization, supporting and maintaining financial systems, and setting standards and processes to support all planning, budgeting and forecasting activities across the company. You will be a key member of the team that navigates the Company through various business cycles, initiatives and enhancements to our systems and processes. You can have an impact on business performance through the implementation of the best-in-class FP&A processes and systems. The Role Financial Planning System Management: Maintain the Company's CPM (corporate performance management) tool in a role of an administrator Conduct regular data validation, reconciliation and analysis Partner with internal and external resources to map processes and integrate tools and technologies to produce reports and analyses against leading practices Refine the Company's modeling tools and techniques to support business growth, including the effective translation of business requirements into planning and reporting solutions Coordinate with the technology team to facilitate external integrations, maintaining upgrades and staying up to date with platform enhancements and capabilities Provide training and expertise to business users, troubleshoot and resolve user questions and issues Provide analytical, financial modeling, and decision-making support for ad-hoc and special projects Consolidation and Reporting: Support optimizing the service delivery of standardized reporting on a monthly, quarterly, yearly and/or ad-hoc basis Assist in the management of the Close, Forecast and Budget cycles, which include, but are not limited to: Maintaining FP&A close calendar, considering key FP&A and management deadlines Providing the FP&A Operations team with forecast/close instructions, process / system information, upcoming deadlines, and clear guidelines and parameters to ensure processes are met in a timely manner and adhere to quality standards Support the production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial presentations. Partner with Finance and FP&A Operations to understand forecast-to-actual variances, and provide insightful analysis to the management team Support the production of quarterly key deliverables, including recurring management reporting, quarterly earnings, BOD materials, investor presentations etc. Process Improvements: Drive business process re-engineering and change in business organization Design, develop and implement methods and strategies to drive continuous process improvement Skills and Experience BS Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or equivalent Finance and IT/technology background, able to unify the two disciplines 1-2 years with related experience (process design, data management/architecture, change management, FP&A) Experience managing and maintaining CPM (corporate performance management) tools, or other Financial/IT systems is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel (financial modeling and analytical techniques) and Power Point Strong drive for data integrity, process and project management Exhibit familiarity in using multidimensional and relational reporting systems for analysis Familiar with end-state definition and process improvement Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency Self-motivated, works well with limited supervision Must be able to uphold Choice's Values & Performance Principles of accountability, collaboration, performance excellence, sense of urgency, innovation, inclusion & diversity, integrity & trust, customer focus, and respect.
