JOB DESCRIPTION:The Lease Administrator is responsible for:Interpreting lease provisions, abstracting and uploading all executed lease agreements, lease amendments, and lease extension documents into the database for the Real Estate Department, ensuring the accuracy and tracking progress of each leasing transactionCoordination of lease and rental payment commencement dates and other timelines with landlords and other key stakeholdersDraft, review, negotiate, and finalize acceptable legal terms forStandard retail shopping center and office building commercial leases, ensuring compliance with corporate standardsConditions for lease renewals, amendments, addenda, and various letter agreements for the company's national leased properties portfolioReport preparationMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Four-Year College DegreeSalary requirements commensurate with commercial leasing experienceStrong written / oral communication and negotiation skillsOrganized with excellent follow up skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environmentGeneral real estate knowledge combined with an understanding of corporate real estate terms and concepts
