Amyx is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to support HQ Army CIO who will provide concept, development, maintenance, and operation of enterprise services/licenses. They will be required to assist with conceptual planning, creating, maintaining, and executing Enterprise License Agreements for IT capabilities within Army and DoD.Responsibilities and Daily Tasks:The Operations Analyst will be responsible for performing the following activities: Perform studies such as economic analyses, Business Case Analyses (BCA), and Cost Benefit Analyses (CBA) to include cost models, requirements analyses, and IT performance metrics. Conduct extensive Market Research within Government and Commercial IT products and services and consolidate research into technical reports for use within the Army Acquisition and Contracting processes. Provide BCAs and CBAs that present facts and supporting details among competing business alternatives. Recommend viable courses of action (COA) among competing business alternatives as well as recommendations as to which COA best suits the Army's requirements. Perform creation, editing, revision, and presentation of papers and briefings on projects or proposals. Support management of Army and DoD Enterprise License Agreements for HQDA CIO/G-6, which includes all enterprise-level software agreements for various software suites supporting Enterprise office automation, Enterprise servers, core Enterprise IT services, and funds management support. Coordination and cooperation with Army's Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS), Army's appointed Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) and software product manager. Provide appropriate financial and resource management assistance to the CIO/G-6 in support of the Enterprise Software License Agreements, including gathering prior year data from Army/DoD Agencies; work closely with HQDA CIO/G-6 Government analysts to ensure validation of costs based on requirements of licenses in the portals; send reports to all Army Commands on active licenses and analyze provided data to ensure correctness; assist with preparing information to accept MIPRs and provide to budget analyst for further processing. The Contractor will not be making recommendations for alternate software products.Supported Technologies: SNAP-ITRequired Skills and Qualifications: 3 to 10 years of experience working in support of DoD, Service or Joint national security headquarters staff or equivalent. Secret clearance and have no break, greater than 24 months, in military service, federal civilian employment or access to classified information under the Industrial Security Program Experience in DoD Budgeting Process Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience developing and presenting complex information to senior Government officials using Microsoft Office Suite applicationsDesired Skills and Qualifications: A Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a related field
