**This is a temporary position** Overview: Responsible for talent acquisition and supporting all human resources activities for Olgoonik Development LLC and its subsidiaries. Primary Responsibilities: Develops and executes recruiting plans. Responsible for the staffing/recruiting process to include but not limited to: Working with hiring managers to determine staffing needs. Drafting job descriptions. Maintaining job library in Taleo. Preparing and posting job notices (internal/external). Reviewing resumes and applications received. Prescreening and interviewing candidates. Conducting background and reference checks. Scheduling pre-employment drug tests. Preparing offer letters. Ensures recruiting function is compliant with all applicable regulations: AAP, OFCCP, EEO, etc. Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting. Provides assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation. Answers general human resources related questions. Secondary Responsibilities: Performs activities in support of company employee recognition programs. Performs activities in support of company LMS (Learning Management System). Assists with teambuilding events for the OD Corporate Office, such as holiday celebrations, quarterly meetings, and annual picnic. Performs data entry of personnel information into the HRIS. Prepares reports as requested. Maintains personnel files/records. Performs other related duties as assigned. Performs specific research/investigation into human resources issues as requested. Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no direct supervisory responsibilities associated with this position. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred. Must have at least five years of progressively responsible and related Human Resources experience, of which at least three years were spent in positions focused on recruiting. A combination of applicable experience and training may be considered in lieu of degree preference. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have strong knowledge of recruiting, identifying and selecting candidates. Requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must possess working knowledge of basic HR concepts, policies and procedures. Must be familiar with labor laws and requirements. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must posses a demonstrated proficiency using an HRIS to include data entry, accessing data, and report writing. Must demonstrate an excellent attitude and ability to work as a member of a team. Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision. Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention to detail. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: PHR designation preferred.
