LB&B Associates Inc. (LB&B) has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Coordinator at its corporate office in Columbia, MD. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager, and will perform a variety of HR functions.Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.Responsibilities:Processing all employment background checks, and maintaining all background filesManage and run the security clearance processProcessing FMLA and Leave of Absence paperworkSetting up and maintaining drug testing locations throughout the country, and tracking all resultsManaging LB&B's random DOT drug/alcohol programEntering and tracking all employee certifications and degreesEntering employment data into Kronos softwareProcessing all education assistance requestsMaintaining all personnel files and establishing internal filing systemReviewing, tracking, and processing all employee new hire paperworkSending out reference checks and exit interviewsEntering employee data into E-verify systemEditing, tracking, and maintaining monthly staffing planResponding to various requests for informationPosition will require limited nationwide travel as needed to assist in onboarding of new employeesCandidate must be very detail orientedMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and OutlookExperience with Kronos Workforce Ready software a plusMust demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to utilize printer, copier, scanner, fax machine, and paper shredderOther duties as assignedQualifications/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Management, Human Resources, Business or related field and one (1) year of experience OR High School Diploma or equivalency and five (5) years related work history The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
