- Bachelor of Law (LL.B) or Juris Doctorate (JD) Degree -AND-
- Active membership of the bar in good standing in any State, Territory of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (Note: proof of bar membership must be provided upon closing date of announcement).
At least three years of professional legal experience and at least one year of specialized experience in the same or similar work equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-14) demonstrating your experience in: (1) Applies comprehensive knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, regulations and theories of national and international legal practices/models; (2) Conducts legal research and analysis on highly sensitive rulemaking or policy issues; and (3) Provides legal advice on a various issues to attorneys and other professionals.
