This is a full-time position working 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.

Position is considered essential personnel. Greets the public, schedules appointments for intake officers, answers phones and enters client information into our database and calendar systems. Fields inquiries from county professionals, court staff and the public. Reviews paperwork processed by intake officers, prepares detention hearing paperwork and contacts parents and probation officers to notify them of court hearings. Enters cases into the Police Paper Intake Database, breaks down paperwork to send to the warrant desk and to docketing. Reviews and scans reports and compliance documentation into Juvenile and Domestic Imaging System (JDIS). Responsible for notifying state school districts of school reportable offenses and for preparing the list of outstanding shelter care orders. Attends mandatory trainings to maintain proficiency in the use of different computer software systems as well as county mandated trainings. Also, proficiency is necessary in the following systems for data retrieval: Balance Approach Data Gathering Environment (BADGE), Case Management System (CMS), Juvenile and Domestic Relations Document Imaging System (JDIS), Juvenile and Domestic Relations Secure Viewing System (JSVS) and Juvenile and Domestic Appointment Calendar (JDAC). Other duties as assigned.
NOTE: The salary offer for the position will not exceed the mid-point of the advertised salary range. Employment Standards MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to high school graduation and one year of experience providing administrative support.

Must have a valid driver' license.

The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, a check of the Child Protective Services Registry, and a driver's license check to the satisfaction of the employer.

Preferred applicant will have meticulous attention to detail. Experience in an environment requiring multi-tasking. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate (oral and written). Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently but within a fast-paced team environment. Excellent computer skills in the use of various computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Balance Approach Data Gathering Environment (BADGE), Case Management System (CMS), Juvenile and Domestic Relations Document Imaging System (JDIS) and our Juvenile and Domestic Appointment Calendar (JDAC). Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Job is generally sedentary in nature, however, must be able to maneuver to Central Intake Services back holding area to assist officers. Visual acuity is required to read data on computer monitor and the incumbent must be able to operate keyboard driven equipment. The ability to work under pressure is important. Physical requirements can be performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
