The ideal candidate will serve on the business process staff for a US Federal Government Agency, working with classified data. Responsibilities Individual will be a member of a Training, Certification and Process Improvement Program, focused on Six Sigma tools and techniques, such as DMAIC, to complete process improvement projects. By defining the problem, measuring the current process by collecting data, analyzing the relevant data, optimizing the process and controlling the process output, Black Belt personnel will help organizations reduce defects and maximize product and service quality, and apply decision models to address business process challenges for a federal government agency.Works with other Black Belt and Green Belt-certified professionals in the planning, designing, and accomplishing of key projects.Facilitates Yellow and Green Belt Training Certification CoursesFacilitates Rapid Improvement Events/Kaizen EventsMentors Candidates through their Green Belt Certification projectsIn addition to the Training Program, the individual may be asked to conduct LSS studies and process improvement engagements.Leads and manages Six Sigma project in order to accomplish measurable business process improvements.Employs Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations to accomplish business objectives.Conducts extensive quality control and record keeping procedures to ensure the highest levels of data integrity.Researches data and develop program review materials.Researches best practices procedures pertaining to performance operations and standards. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: An Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.Bachelor's Degree, statistics, business administration, project management and accounting or related field.Ten or more years of experience working in a process improvement function.Five or more years of experience leading Six Sigma projects.Also requires Black Belt training and certification through a Six Sigma accredited organization.Strong communications and briefing skills required.Strong leadership, decisive and analytical, persuasive, and exceptional project management abilities.SECURITY CLEARANCE STATEMENT:Applicants selected for this position may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
