Ability to satisfactorily complete background investigation - National Agency Check with Written Inquires (NACI), upon hiring and renew every 5 years.

Incumbent must hold a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to learn MWR policies rules and regulations, involving the Community Recreation program. Must have the ability to communicate orally and in writing. Successful Completion of a National Agency check is required upon employment. Employee is required to have a valid state driver's license. Applicants over the age of 18 must be able to obtain license validation to transport patrons off base within 90 days of employment. 

MUST be able to work early mornings, days, evenings and weekends.

MUST be able to complete First Aid/CPR, Food Handlers and C.A.R.E training/lcertifications, where applicable, within 90 days of hire. 

Spouses of active duty military members of the Armed Forces may receive preference in hiring under this announcement if they are among the best qualified referred and are within reach of selection. Spouse Preference does not apply to NF 04 and NF 05 positions. Please clearly identify in your application that you are asking for spouse preference and submit a copy of current PCS orders.  Failure to submit current PCS orders with application will prevent spousal preference from being granted.

Some positions have special requirements.  In these cases selection is tentative pending satisfactory completion of these requirements.  Applicants may be required to provide proof of education, etc. All selections are contingent upon the obtaining of satisfactory employment reference checks.

As a condition of employment, the selected individual will be required to participate in the Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer program.
