Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with almost 4,000 lawyers and staff in 30 offices is seeking an Events Coordinator focusing on coordinating Webinar events across the firm. Working with the Marketing and Business Development teams, the Events Coordinator is responsible for the logistics involved in planning, developing and managing online marketing Webinar events. Candidates must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, committed to excellence in the workplace, and have outstanding organizational and client service skills.This position will report to the Business Development & Marketing Events Manager and will reside in the Washington, DC office. Responsibilities:* Provides logistical support for the coordination of online marketing events, including individual webinar programs and series. Logistical support includes material collection, speaker management, technical testing, CLE coordination, scheduling rooms, ordering food and beverages, reserving AV/recording equipment, setting up WebEx and teleconference lines, and attending the event for support.* Develops project task lists and timelines for events and the associated planning process.* Creates and manages calendar of marketing webinars.* Crafts and distributes communications to attendees, instructors and the project team regarding event registration, logistics, reminders and other related communications.* Tracks registrations and actual event attendees.* Coordinates with the graphics team to create invitations and follow-up emails and ensure they are distributed and responses are tracked. * Send out registration reports.* Tests system prior to presentation/event; trains all presenters on system use.* Provides support and monitor marketing webinars in real time.* Develops scripts and act as "host" for webinars when necessary.* Fields questions from participants during events.* Liaises with WebEx Customer Support team on technical issues * Laisse with office Multi-Media and Audio Visual Departments to ensure proper equipment is available, set-up and tested for speakers.* Responsible for Speaker Management, including materials collection, scheduling and holding tech runs, collection of biographies, etc. * Coordinates CLE applications for online marketing events.* Edits recordings and save to webinar repository, share as appropriate.* Fields and summarizes post-event surveys as appropriate.* Follows up after events to obtain and document event feedback from the applicable departments or practice groups and from event attendees to help measure ROI on participation. * Maintain and circulate final attendee lists for events. * Performs other related duties as assigned.Experience and Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree (in a related marketing discipline) from a four-year college or university; and* A minimum of three years of related work experience (training coordination, event planning, project coordination/management etc.) in a corporate environment, or, equivalent combination of education and experience.* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment. * Excellent writing skills and proofreading skills are required.* Proficiency in WebEx as well as other online webinar platforms.* Must be proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and database applications. * Law firm experience is preferred.Qualified candidates must apply online by visiting our website at www.morganlewis.com and selecting "Careers."
