Job Description: Optima Health Community Care is hiring an Authorizations Secretary
to work at our Norfolk, VA office.
Hours/Shift:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Department/Position Details:

The selected candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience as a secretary with ideal experience in maintaining notes/minutes/files and responding to telephone and written inquiries from both internal and external sources such as providers and health plan members. In addition, independent judgment skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple time-sensitive requests is a must.

  • Clinical support, setting or hands on experience required.
  • Previous health insurance companies is a plus.
