Job Description: Sentara Life Care-Windermere in Virginia Beach VA is currently seeking a
Physical Therapist Assistant.
Department/Position Overview: The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required. The successful candidate will also provide treatment and appropriate therapeutic techniques specific to the age and condition of each patient.
We are looking for a compassionate, forward-thinking Physical Therapist Assistant who is motivated to help our patients meet their goals. Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist. Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
