Our client is an established and well respected Law Firm that is looking to hire an Estate and Trust Administrative Accountant. This position supports a dynamic and team oriented group who work very closely together to service their clients. Responsibilities include handling all aspects of Fund maintenance including the daily depositing and posting of checks, disbursing checks and moving funds to and from the money market fund or weekly bond floaters. This person will also reconcile all separate monthly brokerage statements for Estate and Trust accounts and manage all aspects of the irrevocable insurance trusts. Will be responsible for reconciling monthly statements for the money fund and Fiduciary Account and assigning tax ID numbers. In addition, this candidate will maintain and update the tax docket with due dates for tax returns, and schedule and pay all estimated tax payments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, strong basic math skills, ability to interact with senior management on a regular basis, and an ability to work independently. Excellent computer skills with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office including proficiency in Excel and Word.
