TEAM Integrated Engineering (TEAM IE) is currently looking for experienced Transition Support to provide services to Fort Detrick, MD. Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform on-site TPA services for Ft. Detrick. Gather input from the facility manager. Make field surveys to investigate existing layouts and conditions, and reports to COR or other appropriate Government officials. Ensure conformance with NFPA codes, JCAHO standards, safety standards, and other agency criteria. Coordinate with facility infection control officers to insure compliance. Coordinate with facility safety officers to implement effective safety policies. Report compliance issues to COR or other applicable Government official for action by the Government. Monitor construction contractor quality control activities and makes appropriate recommendations to COR for Government action. Provide timely coordination with hospital staff to ensure proper reviews and notification of projects and utility outages. Is present at utility outages to provide engineering and contractor support. Attend and participate in pre-construction, staff, in-progress-reviews, and other project-related meetings, and provides reports to COR or appropriate Government officials. Contractor shall coordinate with various stakeholders to include Facilities, Logistics, Med Maintenance, the construction contractor, Regional Facilities staff, DPW PM staff, and project-related Corps of Engineers staff. Other collateral duties also include the execution of discrete QA functions, as necessary, in support of COR and other appropriate Government officials. This support will include but is not limited to: review schedules, work performance quality, safety oversight, coordination effectiveness, and perform documentation reviews for COR for all repair and construction work in progress or in planning stages at above-referenced facility. Participate in final on-site inspections of completed work and makes recommendations to the COR for corrective action, if necessary. Provide services as part of a project management team providing consultation and advice to government personnel tasked with overseeing the construction and transition of healthcare / medical research facilities. Key Tasks include: Perform a wide range of complex administrative duties associated with the planning and execution of transition services to include the movement/relocation of personnel and equipment. Ensure the intricate coordination of numerous meetings, conferences and work sessions required in the management of the transition process to include the preparation of transition committee meeting minutes and meeting support documents or equipment. Under the direction of the Transition Manager or person designated by the government representative, assist with the development, writing, and execution of the transition plan. Preparation of executive level progress briefings for transition activities. Coordinate with the IO&T contractor (or other organizations performing transition functions), move managers and other vendors in the execution of the transition plan. Interacts with logistics and various other organizational activities in order to expedite the transition process and move related functions. Coordinate with the IO&T contractor (or other organizations performing transition functions), or executes under direction of Transition Manager, the development and execution of a training program, Coordinating the development, publication, and maintenance of the integrated transition master planning schedule. Assisting with the preparation of the transition budget and responses to data calls from higher headquarters. Assisting with the preparation of the move plan as well a comprehensive move guide and new facility welcome packet. In conjunction with the IO&T contractor (if used), responsible for developing a Pre-move and Occupancy Checklist and monitoring actual progress to ensure that target timelines are met. Assisting with the preparation and conduction of pre-move orientations as part of the transition team and the project delivery team. Assist the Transition Manager or person designated by the government representative with tracking and preparing weekly progress reports as it relates to a records digitization program, office database collections, and numerous internal and external management requirements. Perform as the primary manager of the space and move manager programs (if utilized) and ensure that these databases and graphical interface tools supporting space and move management are kept up-to-date, for space assignments, move scenario development, etc Minimum Requirements: 5 years or more experience directly related to assigned tasks.
