Junior Analyst, Physical Security Position Summary The Physical Security Analyst is a member of the Operations team within the Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC). The Junior Physical Security Analyst will develop security analysis products, provide programmatic support to the Physical Security Analysis team, and assist with projects relating to physical security protective measures to ensure an adequate level of reliability in North American electric grid assets. This individual will prepare and conduct security outreach and incident response with critical infrastructure asset owners and operators. This role reports to the Associate Director, Physical Security. Duties and Responsibilities . Support physical security initiatives within the E-ISAC. . Manage daily incident information for deeper analysis by E-ISAC team. . Develop efforts with E-ISAC subject matter experts to identify opportunities to improve the physical protection of North American electric grid assets. . Develop incident bulletins for physical security events for industry awareness. . Support physical security training programs, workshops, and webinars. . Develop timely and actionable communications on physical security response for North America-wide incidents and grid security exercises. . Develop and conduct security outreach with critical infrastructure asset owners and operators. . Coordinate closely with other E-ISAC staff members. . Assist in the development of presentations and products. Coordinate meetings and training events.Qualifications The successful candidate will have Bachelors of Arts or Science degree or equivalent in a related discipline and 5+ years of experience in the following: Intelligence analysis (Multi-Source or Open-Source). Vulnerability analysis, threat analysis, and mitigation strategy. Physical security protective measures for critical infrastructure. Law enforcement operations (eg, Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Bureau of Investigation, state or local law enforcement). Familiarity with large-scale industry and government security exercises. Incident response, event analysis, and crisis management (familiarity). Project management methods and tools (familiarity). Additional desired attributes include: Familiarity with energy infrastructure. General experience with grid functions and utility operations. Critical thinking skills. Active interest in domestic and foreign affairs. Strong organization skills. Military, law enforcement, or intelligence background. Physical Security Professional certifications highly desired.
