How is your Digital Marketing experience? Our client, a Membership Association in Washington, DC is recruiting for a Temp-to-Hire Manager of Communications & Donor Relations. This Manager will be the voice of the Foundation across digital channels, creating engaging content that helps build awareness of the Foundation and connect with members, prospects, and the public, resulting in an increase of philanthropic contributions. They need a creative and strategic thinker with experience devising digital campaigns to strengthen ties to donors and increase funding.
Responsibilities will include overseeing the processing of charitable contributions for the Foundation and coordinating with the finance and IT teams to ensure timely and accurate processing, coding and receipting of donations. This person will learn and manage all facets of donation gift processing and be the primary point of contact to all donors, including interaction with high-level contributors and leaders such as members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors and the Association’s Board of Trustees.
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3-5 years of experience in a communications role. Must also have proven digital marketing experience to include website management, social media and other emerging communication channels.
This possible Temp-to-Hire position will start immediately and will be filled as soon as we identify the right candidate! After the Temp-to-Hire period, the salary, depending on experience, will be right around $70K.
