Job Description: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Coordinator for their busy Guest Services Department. This is a full time day shift position. Applicants with an appropriate Bachelor's degree are strongly preferred.

Directly responsible for the coordination and management of the volunteer services program. These services include recruiting of volunteers from a variety of community resources, providing orientation, training and appropriate placement of volunteers, and for volunteer retention activities in the designated facility. Also responsible for coordination of certain hospital/system special projects and programs.

Education Level
Bachelor's Level Degree - Experience in lieu of education: Yes OR
High School Grad or Equivalent

Required: Volunteer Coordinator - 1 year, Volunteers - 3 years

One year Volunteer Coordinator or three years Volunteer experience required. Bachelor's Level Degree in Behavioral Science or Human Resource Management preferred. Knowledge of community resources.
