Web Content Manager

Do you have at least 5 years of web marketing and web content management experience?   Our client, a Membership Association near the Orange Line in Arlington, VA is searching for a possible Temp-to-Hire Web Content Manager.  This person will play an instrumental role in the content marketing efforts of the Association and find innovative, creative and measurable ways to leverage their web properties to drive leads, maximize member engagement, and to promote revenue-related offerings online.  They will manage the Association’s revenue-related web and mobile properties including their national website and all associated micro-sites, landing pages, and related communications. 

This position requires a high level of energy and a passion for collaboration, as well as the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders to launch new content, keep it updated, and continually optimized. 

Candidates must possess a high degree of understanding of web strategy, web accessibility, web metrics, user experience, social media and digital strategy.  Must have at least 5 years of web marketing, web content management experience as well as a solid understanding of information architecture, web usability, and best practices for writing for the web. 

Must also have demonstrated experience working within open-source Web Content Management Systems such as Drupal.  Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and graphic design is also needed.  Experience working in a nonprofit or association with a focus on membership and meetings is ideal.
