    The National Guard's full-time support program requires that all military technicians are members of the National Guard and are appointed to full-time positions which correspond to their military assignments. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership.

    Minimum Military Rank: O-1/1LT
    Maximum Military Rank: O-4/MAJ
    Compatible Military Assignments: 34, 31, 35

    Other requirements: Applicant must have a current Single Scope Background Investigation according to Army Personnel Security Program Management Directives; or, must possess or be able to obtain a National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit (NACLC) according to applicable DoD Instructions, Army regulations, upon appointment. The applicant must possess or be able to obtain the proper clearance type and level within one year of appointment. Must possess a valid state driver's license to operate government motor vehicles, for the state in which they live or are principally employed, in accordance with Army Vehicle Operations Directives. Must be approved to operate government motor vehicles and vehicular equipment according to Army Vehicle Operations Directives.

    GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
    Must have the experiences, education, or training that demonstrates the ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures.
    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least twenty-four (24) months experience in the Security Forces career field to include technical training schools and drill-status working experience. Experienced in managing and conducting security police programs at a military installation or facility to include perimeter security, ground defense, conventional weapon systems security, law enforcement, training, resource protection, information security, personnel security, industrial security, wartime information security, and security classification management.
