ALL APPLICANTS: To qualify for this vacancy, you must meet the specialized experience or education requirements for the grade level you are applying in order to be considered for this vacancy.
Experience: To qualify for theGS-09 level, all applicants must possess at least one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-07). Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, Specialized experience is defined as experience in 1. analyzing and interpreting sources of financial information and applying it to specific areas of work. 2. using specific procedures or automated financial systems to research, review, process, or change accounting data in transaction files, ledgers, accounts, summary reports and financial statements; 3. reviewing financial data to be used in reconciling customer accounts; 4. assisting in the preparation of monthly reports; 5. advising team lead and supervisor on transactions that differ from the norm; and 6. tracking operations and solving operational problems and customer issues/inquiries that may arise.,OR;
Education: Have a master's or equivalent graduate degree from an accredited college or university, OR;
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, OR;
LL.B. or J.D., if related (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED) OR;
Combination: Have a combination of experience and education which, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement. (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED)
