This is a Per Diem position. No weekends
Delegating Registered Nurse for Assisted Living Setting:
-Site visits to the facility at a minimum of every 45 days.
-Initial assessments for new residents.
-Review of the new resident's medication profile within 14 days of admission.
-Assessing clinical status of the client every 45 days and as needed.
-Routine chart review.
-Reassessment of residents discharged from the hospital.
-Monthly review of Medication Administration Record (MAR) and the Physician's Medication Order (PMOF) including quality assurance check for any new, discontinued or revised orders.
-Seasonal injections such as influenza administration or TB, or PPD
-Conduct medication training and recertification for staff
-Assessing the competency of the Medication Technician every 45 days and administering the required clinical update for all Medication Technicians.
-Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care.
-Provides support, information, and direct patient care. Utilizes equipment and technology successfully and is technologically competent in nursing procedures.
-Educates patients and families on significant self-care issues.
-Bachelors degree in Nursing
-Current MD RN license
-Delegation certificate for Assisted Living setting.
-Current CPR/BLS certification
-Two years experience in med/surg required
-Experience in psych nursing preferred.
