  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    You must meet ALL of the minimum qualifications listed below.
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

    AND
    • At least 5 years of specialized experience that includes:
    1. Applied knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices of budgeting and analysis for mission-related programs and services sufficient to analyze large and complex national level programs.
    2. Budget justification, formulation, and execution

    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
    • 1 or more years of practical experience with Postal Service accounting processes, and systems.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
    • Advanced Degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Professional certification(s), i.e. CPA, CMA, CFM, CGFM, CIA, etc.

    EVALUATION FACTORS
    You must have the experience, knowledge and skills as listed in EACH of the evaluation factors. Failure to demonstrate that you meet all of the evaluation factor requirements as listed below will result in a score of zero (0); an ineligible status, and you will not be referred for further consideration. Include your major accomplishments relevant to the position requirements in your resume.
    • Experience in budget related standards, procedures, methods, systems and techniques.
    • Experience in budget presentation, including preparing and reviewing written budget justification material and summaries.
    • Experience in developing solutions to budget formulation, forecast modeling and/or execution problems, including gathering and analyzing relevant data, evaluating alternatives, preparing issues papers, and presenting findings.
    • Ability to establish and maintain relationships and work collaboratively with others who are at various levels within an organization.

    You will no longer be considered for this position if you receive a zero (0) rating on any evaluation factor.

    Failure to demonstrate that you meet all evaluation factor requirements will result in a score of zero (0). Upon receipt of a zero score, you will be deemed "not minimally qualified," and you will not be referred for further consideration.
