Job Description: Optima Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Full Time Customer Service Representative for their Virginia Beach location!

Hours/Shift: Day or Evening shift, call center hours are 8am-8pm. Full Time - 40 hrs/wk.

Optima Health is a service of Sentara Healthcare and offers creative and innovative services and solutions to help members, providers, and employers get the most out of their health plan and life!

The Customer Service Representative position handles all incoming calls from Optima customers, providers, and employers. Good communication and customer service skills are a must and prior call center, customer service, and data entry skills and experience is preferred. Training is provided and this position has great growth potential!

The position is located in the Virginia Beach Optima building near Witchduck Rd and Virginia Beach Blvd.

Responsible for all areas of customer service as it pertains to research and resolution of telephone inquiries related to Plan prescription benefits, eligibility or claim payment issues. Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education.

Education Level
High School Grad or Equivalent

Required: Customer Service - 2 years, Data Entry - Previous experience

Related experience in one of the following areas: Customer Service, Banking, Healthcare, Provider Relations.
