The facility fosters a team environment since good communication skills with fellowemployees is critical for safe transport of goods throughout the warehouse.Responsibilities:As a forklift operator you will drive a powered industrial truck with a hydraulicmechanism to lift and move heavy goods. In a fast paced manufacturing warehouse,you will perform tasks associated with moving goods from one place to another. Youmight load and unload trucks or be asked to supply production areas with product orremove finished goods to a warehouse storage area. You may also inspect liftsbefore use and participate in training sessions for license renewal.We also need you to check inventory, execute product counts, weigh or tag product,and use a handheld barcode scanner. Other tasks could involve wrapping loads witha shrink wrapper, loading goods onto and off a truck, and light cleaning of the warehouseWorking hours: 3 PM - 11 PMSkills:- Operating a forklift to maneuver through the warehouse to move products- Using wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory- Adhering to quality standards set forth by the company- Inspecting and performing maintenance of forklifts and other materialhandling equipment- Identifying safety hazards in the workplace- Maintaining concentration over a long period of time- Completing and passing forklift requirements as directed by OSHAQualifications: At least 2 years of recent forklift experience Current certification required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and a strong sense of balance Dexterity, strong hand-eye coordination with attention to detail and accuracy Attention to safety precautions and common senseClick to apply or call 410.252.7476 to discuss your skills and availability.
