Food & Beverage - Culinary Lead
OverviewOversees the quality preparation and presentation of food items for assigned restaurant location.Qualifications Ability to pass basic math assessment Ability to pass ServSafe certification class Ability to demonstrate knowledge of basic culinary procedures. Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. ServSafe ServSafe Alcohol ResponsibilitiesSupport parks' Executive Chef at company events as assigned. Ensure recipe and menus are followed as outlined. Make recommendations for changes based on observations and industry knowledge.Ensure all health code and food safety standards are met. Responsible for presentation of food in serving area in a manner that drives sales. Responsible for daily food production in assigned restaurant. Ensures clear and accurate communication to line staff, supervisors, and management. Maintains cleanliness and safety standards in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisors.Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.Complete and submit all inventory, budget, and administrative paperwork. Train, direct, evaluate, and dicsipline staff with appropriate documentation.
