Job Description: Position Overview As a Quantitative Analytics & Model Development Consultant within PNC's Analytics and Portfolio Mgmt organization , you will be based in VA - Tysons Corner, DC - Washington, or PA - Pittsburgh. In this role you will be working on the firm's residential real estate portfolio loss forecasting models and other models for business use. As a consultant you will be responsible for quantitative modeling and apply analytics techniques to developing and monitoring models. This person will perform daily modeling activities, provide insights of data analytics, model performance and diagnosis, support model validation and regulatory review. This position is located in VA - Tysons Corner, DC - Washington, or PA - Pittsburgh Preferences/Skills College degree of master in quantitative fields such as math, statistics, economics and finance SAS programming, enterprise guide and enterprise minor Regression technique, logistic regressions, linear regressions, time series etc. Proficient with Microsoft excel and PowerPoint Good communication skills, clearly write technical documentation and present technical materials Python and R programming skills preferred Machine learning skills preferred Previous experience of loss forecasting models preferred Previous experience of CCAR/CECL modeling preferred Job Profile * Performs complex quantitative analyses and models development to support decision-making by running quantitative strategies. * Develops new model frameworks by supporting the line of business. Refines, monitors, and validates existing models. Conducts on-going communication with model owners and model developers during the course of the review. Works with large data to create models. * Performs advanced qualitative and quantitative assessments on all aspects of models including theoretical aspects, model design and implementation as well as data quality and integrity. Reviews reports and associated quantitative analysis. Validates existing models and assesses model risks. * Evaluates identified model risks and reaches conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model. * Prepares and analyzes detailed documents for validation and regulatory compliance, using applicable templates.
