About the Opportunity Digital Management, Inc. (DMI), is seeking to hire a Billing Specialist to provide internal back office support at its Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, MD. The Billing Specialist will prepare and review invoices for DMI's Federal customers, troubleshoot and resolve issues with regards to invoices, monitor the Aged Accounts Receivable Report to ensure collections are received according to terms, and reconcile unbilled receivables on a monthly basis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Responsibilities/Duties: Billing and controlling the invoicing process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing Perform quality control checks to verify information entered in billing system Research billing discrepancies and quickly address any issues delaying the billing process Revise and edit invoices as needed Accounts receivable and collections Reconcile unbilled receivables Effectively interact and communicate with team members throughout the billing process to ensure that billing information is received in a timely manner Enter invoices into the customer's WEB based invoicing system including WAWF Effectively interact and communicate with customers to resolve any billing issues in a timely manner Other tasks as needed to help the team meet objectives and requirements May be asked to prepare General Ledger reconciliations Qualifications Required Experience/Skills: The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of billing experience in a government contract billing Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills like vlookups, pivot tables Costpoint 7.1.1 Either an Associate's or Bachelor's degree Desired Experience/Skills: Understanding of T&M, FP, and mostly Cost Plus billing a must Working knowledge of Deltek Time and Expense 9.0 High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing business needs and manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Basic knowledge of accounting practices and concepts Location: HQ Bethesda, MD or Tyson's Corner, VA Min.
