Construction Project Coordinator Job
The Project Coordinator will be supporting project teams for construction services in estimating, marketing, subcontractor relations and successful project completion. PC will be responsible for administrative functions for 1-2 projects at a time, working with 1-2 PM's at a time. Responsibilities include: coordination and administration of project start-up and closeout; establish and maintain project files, temporary site services, related directories, RFI logs, PCO logs, and sub logs, related correspondence, meeting minutes, project punch-list. PC will process submittals to ensure compliance, change orders, project schedule, assist with budget revisions and prepare Operations and maintenance manual, as-built drawings and project closeout documents. Qualifications: 1-3 years experience in the construction industry as a project coordinator or performing construction administrative functions supporting PM's. If BS degree in Construction Management they will look at someone with no experience or if BS in Engineering will consider some internships within construction. Must have an outgoing and like-able personality with thick skin to deal with subs, PM, and Superintendents Strong character and values will be taken into consideration Must be organized Must be computer literate and tech savvy (MS Office a must) (MS project or Timberline are a plus) Must have good written and verbal communication skills Must have understanding of construction process, drawings and procedures Compensation: Based on experience About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
