Net sales, Net margin, Outbound calling & general phone statistics, periodic promotional goals, etc. Generates revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products. Account Management: Initiates sales calls to existing customers to assess the need for replenishing inventories. Conduct an in-depth analysis of jobber's business (main business focus, # of employees, # of bays, installations, showroom size, competitive pressures, direct vendor relationships and any unique segment/retail/service needs) Conduct monthly Category / Line reviews with the customer using AS400 data Discuss business building ideas (new lines, new categories, initiatives, re-merchandising of store etc Sell promotions, VSC's, specialty catalogs, etc Manage pricing / discounts to grow customers profitably Identify, in conjunction with RSM, OSS and category management, the accounts with the greatest potential to grow and label them as Target Accounts Grow Targeted and Top 20 accounts Outbound Calls and Action Plan Identify growth lines, categories, initiatives, pricing actions, rebates and other value adders in an Action Plan for these customers Review progress and next steps with RSM during regular Target Account reviews Review Target Accounts with assigned Outside Salesperson (OSS) regularly to determine the coordinated next steps to grow the customer Post extensive AS400 'F1' notes with details of recent business conversations with customer and competitive details that may have been received during those conversations Provides ongoing customer and technical service on existing accounts. Processes orders - performs order entry (orders called in or received online), reviews orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities and shipping data. Seek out opportunities for up-selling and price negotiation. Informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer. Advises customer on substitution or modification of part when part requested is not available. Dispatches delivery of orders, as necessary to comply with customer requests. Observes changes in inventory so as to insure minimum stock levels.
