We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.The Asset Management department is responsible for oversight and the administration of a portfolio of over $70 billion of loans. These tasks include watchlist oversight, consent administration, review of property inspections, property level financial statement review.The Commercial Mortgage Credit Analyst 2 (CA) is responsible for providing support to the asset management department on a portfolio of GSE (Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae) and CME/CMBS securitized multifamily loans. The CA's primary responsibilities are loan boarding, administration of repair escrows, and processing routine borrower real estate consents.The CA will administer and manage a large number of repair escrows on all GSE and CME/CMBS properties. The CA will establish contact with the borrowers and will coordinate with the borrower and investor, specific information as required by the Servicing Guide and Loan Documents. The CA will process releases from repair escrow, monitor, maintain and periodically report the status to various stakeholders.The CA must demonstrate technical and problem solving skills, multitask, appropriate administration of deadlines, work independently, and adhere to rules and regulations. CA should have the ability to understand mortgage loan document requirements, be able to provide accurate and timely information to various stakeholders, understand real estate fundamental, have excellent computer skills, and demonstrated oral and written communication skills. To successfully function in this role the CA must have fundamental knowledge of and experience with multifamily or commercial real estate loans. Additionally a working knowledge or experience with GSE loan servicing is a plus.The CA will work with the Asset Managers and will assist with special projects, and perform other duties as assigned including setting up meetings, preparing handouts, and other office administrative tasks. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to all applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
