Overview The Marketing Coordinator will communicate with member travel agencies via outbound calls to inform them on highly targeted consumer marketing campaign details, preferred supplier special offers, and solicit campaign feedback. May involve some domestic travel to travel agency offices. The Coordinator will also handle all mailings and special messaging to member travel agencies. Responsibilities Proactively call-out to agencies to review campaign details, consumer offers and tools available to travel agencies to grow agency bookings. Oversee messaging for multiple campaigns running simultaneously. Includes emailing special supplier promotions to key group of members. Handle all aspects of mailings to targeted agencies (100-500 agencies per campaign) May include some travel to travel agencies across the US Engage with Marketing Account Managers as needed to handle call-outs for Engagement Opt-in to increase participation Other duties as assigned Qualifications College Degree required Minimum 1 year customer service experience Previous telephone sales experience a plus Self-motivated with the strong initiative to work independently Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a deadline oriented environment Demonstrated strong communication and/or sales skills with a variety of audiences Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, word processing, database and spreadsheet software Must be extremely organized and able to work on many programs simultaneously Experience in the travel and/or tourism industry a plus Must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills Proficient in MS Office.
