FedBid (a Compusearch Company) is the leading full-service reverse auction online marketplace for government purchasing. Over 70 Federal agencies conducted in excess of $1B of government purchases through FedBid in 2017. FedBid's customer base is thought leaders and change agents who want to provide more cost effective, compliant, and responsive purchasing services. It includes front-line buyers in government agencies, as well as more senior acquisition managers and policy makers. We are looking for the right person to help disseminate and share information about how our capabilities help these thought leaders meet their objectives. FedBid is looking for a seasoned DoD/Intel Sales leader who can take a great team and make them even better and who has a stellar network within in the DoD/Intel space. This person is responsible driving all revenue across DoD/Intel accounts while managing the dedicated team of Sales and account professionals. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the go to market lead for all FedBid sales activity in the DoD/Intel space Identify, understand, and expand on offerings which fulfill client-based needs and values determine sales opportunities Lead, manage, train, and direct team members Organize, manage, and schedule meetings with current and potential clients Build and develop relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance on best approaches to optimize FedBid's marketplace Generate and develop new business to increase volume through outreach, in-person meetings, trade show/organizations attendance/participation and other related activities Ensure the team maintains customer accounts in FedBid/Salesforce and facilitate effective client follow-up Manage a sales team, metrics and reports to maintain alignment on team delivery of revenue generating activities Represent FedBid DoD/Intel in planning and strategy meetings. Become the voice for FedBid DoD/Intel Bachelor's degree required Understanding of government procurement processes and policy Familiarity with US Military and DoD organizations required 10+ years sales experience required Understanding of sales performance metrics Excellent communication and presentation skills Competitive, persuasive, energetic and self-motivated Strong client-facing skills and effective selling to an executive and / or decision maker with a consultative approach CRM experience, Salesforce preferred Ability to travel up to 40% FedBid is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
