IDIQ/Vehicles Management Lead (Business Development)
Develop strategy for maximizing the use of and driving business toward LMI's IDIQ/Contract Vehicles. Work closely with LMI's internal contacts administrators to manage and coordinate the use of large IDIQ, BPA, and GWAC contract vehicles for the company. Develop, implement and ensure there are standard processes and templates for marketing Contract Vehicles both internally and externally to both partners and customers. Advise LMI organizations on using GWAC, IDIQ, and BPA contract vehicles. Participate in or lead the recompetes of IDIQ vehicles. Think strategically about how to leverage vehicles and collaborate across a range of stakeholder groups.Identify new IDIQ vehicles and participate in their capture. Track and report contract vehicle performance, support capture and proposals, and advise the corporation regarding the use of these contracts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a relevant discipline.10+ years of experience in a professional organization focused on federal government contracting with roles focused in BD or vehicle management.Thorough understanding of contract vehicle management.Knowledge of the federal procurement process and acquisition environment.Experience and ability to think strategically to develop win strategies utilizing contract vehicles.Solid experience in all contract types (eg, firm fixed price, time and materials), including performance-based contracting and the ability to offer guidance on contractual matters.Proven organizational and teamwork skills, ability to manage priorities within expected timelines while effectively managing competing priorities, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well across organizational lines and solid customer relationship management experience are required.Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), specifically FAR Part 16, and large multiple-award IDIQ contracts is a plus.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.May consider qualified applicants outside of the National Capital Region.Applicants selected for this position may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
