SummaryThis is a training position designed for externally recruited experienced managers focused on learning the roles, policies and procedures performed by each member of the store team as well as managerial responsibilities.CompetenciesCompany: Focused on the Customer, Driven for Results, Integrity & ValuesKey Accountabilities (Learning the Trailer World way to do each of the following:)Drive Store Revenue Lead and manage store team in meeting and exceeding personal and team revenue and margin goals including total revenue, trailer sales, service revenue, parts revenue & ancillary revenue.Customer Service Foster an environment of accountability for customer service. Actively lead the store team by personally demonstrating customer focus, owning problem resolution and building customer brand loyalty through exemplary service with a smile.Control Expenses Follow company directives, policies and procedures for inventory control, supply purchasing, labor and other controllable expenses.Human Resources Ensure that the store is fully staffed with qualified employees. Drive timely completion of required training by all employees as well as their understanding and execution of content. Follow Human Resources policies & procedures providing a healthy work environment. Safety & Security Maintain a safe & secure store environment for all employees, customers and visitors. Ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and used. Properly trains all employees on safety policies and practices and enforces compliance. Ensure that company security procedures are followed at all times. Responsible for securing companyEssential Functions (Learning the Trailer World way to do each of the following:) Ensure that the store is opened and closed each business day to ensure proper security and customer service. Coach and lead sales employees, including personal sales, to meet or exceed sales and margin goals. Manage the parts and service department including the warranty process to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded, productivity is high and customers have a positive experience. Ensure that all store standards are consistently met including, but not limited to:safety, cleanliness, security, customer service, cash handling, banking, regulatory compliance, etc. Ensure that products are ordered in a timely and efficient manner.Ensure that products are properly received, stocked and priced when they come in.Including assembly of trailers. All other duties as assigned. Required Education, Experience and Credentials High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Prior management experience Prior sales experience Valid Driver's License Preferred Education and Experience Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree 3-5 years management experience in a retail or sales environment 3-5 years of sales experience
