Process Engineer Technical Specialist

Vencore is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities This position provides Process Engineering in support of client operations, to include conducting analyses of existing and planned processes, and using of tools and techniques for analysis. These operations utilize numerous internal processes which must operate in concert and in compliance with overall organizational/higher level processes and policies. These processes must allow for the efficient, effective, and accurate delivery of services to provide customers with optimal results, and must support the effective application and utilization of resources within the Client's organization. The Process Engineer Level 2 (PE2) will be required to Collaborate with government and contractor personnel, external and internal to the assigned organization to ensure proper coordination of activities, resources, and shared processes. In this manner, the PE may act as a liaison and collaborate with mission stakeholders and users to analyze systems and operations performance metrics, reporting requirements, and exchange knowledge regarding existing and proposed services and processes. The PE will ensure process engineering principles and processes exist throughout various systems life cycle phases. The PE will identify, prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation to include process descriptions, process flow diagrams, service delivery and metrics, and customer/user documentation. The PE will assist Process Owners and project managers with automating, measuring, and optimizing organizational business processes to ensure the efficient application of resources. The PE will provide recommendations and ensure coordination to successfully manage and align multiple projects and capabilities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The PE will communicate status, issues, and roadblocks to leadership on a recurring basis, and make recommendations to facilitate the integration of new processes into the program. Position Task Deliverables:Engineered processes that enable repeatable metrics for measuring performance, lead to process improvement, and support the mission customer in decision-making.Provide submission of Weekly Activity Reports (WAR) to the mission customer and to the TTO Lead. Requires 10 yeaars with BS/BAIndividual Capabilities Required:Demonstrated process engineering experience across multiple process areas and/or demonstrated process improvement experience. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.Experience depicting and analyzing processes using Visio or other Process Engineering tool.
