Vencore is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities LANDMARK Ground Support Services (GSS) - Project performs technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) systems. Analysis are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost contraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.The Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) will be a member of the End-to-End SIGINT mission control (MC) systems engineering (SE) team responsible for SIGINT systems readiness reviews throughout the lifecycle. The SETA will be responsible for working closely with the development teams to understand the MC requirements, which includes performing full requirements traceability in the GED DOORS database in support of Future Ground Architecture (FGA) requirements verification, sell-off, and closure. The SETA will also be responsible for understanding the MC system interfaces and maintaining them in the GED DOORS database. In addition, the SETA will be responsible for reviewing segment level test scenarios and test reports, and provide oversight into the final design reviews and recommendation to move the system throughout its milestones to be used by the customer. The individual may also maintain / develop associated requirements and interface documents for the program and assist in developing / reviewing Acquisition Strategies and Acquisition Packages; Request for Changes (RFCs); Statement of Works (SOWs); Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and development contracts. They will also track project execution, identify and mitigate project risk, brief senior government customers, and work collaboratively in a multi-contractor, FFRDC and government environment. Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.Active TS/SCI clearance with PolyDegree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline; Systems Engineering degree preferredFormer experience working with the Intelligence Community (IC) Westfield's customer in the SIGINT domainTechnical expertise of Westfield's customer SIGINT ground systems, to include in-depth knowledge of existing MC SIGINT systems and capabilitiesExperience with using IBM's Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) database for requirements management and traceability, and management of system interfacesExcellent written and oral communication skills, ability to faciliate meetings with multi-organizational stakeholders, understanding explicit and implicit deliverablesProficiency in applying SE&I (eg, processes, IV&V, and transition, risk and readiness management)Self-starter, proactive in responding to customer needs, ability to work independently and within team environmentsStrong attention to detail, especially when managing and maintaining customer requirements and interfaces in GED DOORS databaseAbility to relate professionally with customers and colleaguesAbility to operate in an extremely dynamic environment, especially with changing customer needsResponsible, reliable and flexiblePassion for learning and knowledge transfer, and mentoring junior workforce
