Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems. The candidate will provide operations and maintenance for operational Windows and Linux-based systems, software and database applications.1. Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining Windows Servers and Active Directory.2. Experience managing and maintaining Windows workstations.3. Experience managing and maintaining Linux servers.4. Understands TCP/IP.5. Experience managing and maintaining network switches and routers.6. Experience with System build automation.7. Experience with virtualization technology deployed in an operational environment (VMware and KVM).8. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills.9. Ability to follow disciplined configuration and change management processes.10. Maintains system documentation.11. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.12. Participates in special projects as required.10-15 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.Experience with Puppet and Foreman preferred.Experience maintaining Splunk application preferred.Experience maintaining database applications preferred.Experience with multiple scripting languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Jscript, Bash, and Perl preferred. Experience with system monitoring (Nagios) preferred.Experience with GIT revision control software preferred.Communicates effectively with peers adn development staff.Ability to work autonomously with minimal management direction.Excellent written communication skills and capable of producing detailed and useful system artifacts, procedures and documents.Strong team player, and independent contributor.
