Solutions Project Manager
Overview Publishing Services is looking for a goal-oriented, self-starter who will serve as a Project Manager for their Solutions team. The Solutions Project Manager will manage all phases of projects, including discovery, project planning, development, implementation, training, and documentation. The primary focus of this position is managing the project plan, LOEs, structure, schedule, and resources for single- and multi-system projects to ensure complete and on-time delivery. The Solutions Project Manager will be the main point of contact for Solutions team projects and must keep all stakeholders informed about project updates, delays, progress, etc. To be successful, he/she must have a desire to learn more about the Advantage system. The Solutions Project Manager will also work closely with other Project Managers, Product teams, the Client Services team, the Learning and Development team, and the other Agora companies (users) to ensure that goals are met and that the customers are fully satisfied. Responsibilities Manage internal multi-system projects (including Advantage, Messaging and eCommerce systems). Ensure projects are kept up-to-date and meeting assigned deadlines. Schedule and coordinate on premise and remote project meetings between Application and Solutions teams and customers. . Keep thorough meeting notes and share the notes with relevant teams via email and/or JIRA project tasks. Assist in writing new business proposals. Gain a technical understanding of Publishing Services products and development process. Ensure optimal resource allocation in order to complete tasks and projects. Serve as primary customer liaison. Effectively document and communicate project updates, progress and status to relevant parties. Work closely with team managers to determine team resource availability for new and existing projects and tasks. Qualifications BA/BS degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or related field; or equivalent post high school education and/or work related experience. 1-3 years of experience in IT project/program management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time-management and organizational skills. Ability to change tasks as needed to meet business priorities. General knowledge of software development process and life cycle (SDLC). Experience with managing projects that develop, enhance, and support enterprise systems. Experience with Project Management tools (Atlassian suite or similar)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and major responsibility. Ability to work well independently and on a team. Knowledge of the Advantage CRM a plus. Knowledge of SQL and/or C# a plus. Expectations Learn about the companies supported by Publishing Services.
