Our uniquely designed program offers interns valuable exposure into the hospitality industry and the operating structure of a leading organization in this space. Our comprehensive program promotes growth through various opportunities including: practical work experience and participation in a critical business project in a chosen field, learning and networking opportunities with senior leaders, and an intern-led service project supporting our corporate social responsibility initiative. This program is designed to provide students with an enriched experience in corporate dynamics, collaboration and their individual areas of interest. The role This role is an excellent chance to gain exposure to corporate M&A and investments, including financial and strategic analysis, deal due diligence and execution and asset and portfolio management. What you will do Support corporate development team in the development of detailed valuation and investment models Support cross-functional due diligence efforts for acquisition and partnership opportunities Conduct primary and secondary research and articulate the strategic rationale of investment opportunities, including financial risk/return analysis Develop business cases to identify, assess, screen, and validate potential initiatives using financial and strategic analysis frameworks. Conduct screens, gather market intelligence to source ideas and perform opportunity assessment Monitor the performance of existing investment, including preparing analysis for senior leadership Support the management of existing investments, including the development of strategic analysis Skills you have Strong communication skills (written/verbal) Proficiency in power point, excel, word and financial modeling Strong attention to detail, combined with ability to think strategically Ability to learn on the fly Prior experience developing financial models using excel and performing research Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field Ability to multi-task Good organization skills Experience with power point Must be able to uphold Choice's Values & Performance Principles of collaboration, performance excellence, sense of urgency, innovation, inclusion & diversity, integrity & trust, customer focus, and respect Must be able to uphold Choice's Values & Performance Principles of accountability, collaboration, performance excellence, sense of urgency, innovation, inclusion & diversity, integrity & trust, customer focus, and respect.
