JOB DESCRIPTION PRCS is seeking a Park Manager to join our Parks Division. This position will be based at Franklin Park in Purcellville, VA. If you enjoy working outdoors, are able to foresee potential problems and have the specialty skills needed to solve them, then this could be the position you've been looking for. Reporting to the Division Manager of Parks, a top priority for this position will be to manage the park and its multiple facilities, including ballfields, a swimming pool with a splash pad, athletic courts, trails, an equestrian ring, a fishing pond, and open space areas. In addition, this position will: Provide leadership and supervision to park staff and volunteers Develop annual and long term programs and facilities plans Manage and forecast the park budget Implement and monitor administrative processes and procedures Manage and oversee special events Successful candidates will: Enjoy a 37.5 hour work week, typically 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, with occasional weekend and special event hours Be considered essential 24 hour personnel Strive to exceed expectations, foster relationships with positive and effective communication with patrons and staff, demonstrate competency working with innovative and evolving technology and equipment Loudoun County Regular Full-time Employees are eligible for full benefits including but not limited to the following as a part of a total rewards package! Will need to have and maintain a valid driver's license. Will need to have upon hire, or obtain within the first 90 days of employment, First Aid and CPR Certification.
