Summary Of PositionThe qualified candidate will support and assist the Operations Manager to achieve department and company goals. He/she will partner with the Sales team to handle all aspects of servicing accounts including but not limited to order processing and invoicing, inventory management, processing return deliveries, voids, andadministration of the daily operations tasks of the Operations Department. This positionwill bebased in Doka'sMidatlantic Branch located in Baltimore, Maryland.ResponsibilitiesManages and maintains all aspects of customer accounts and the order process including order placement andorder entry, follow up, price verification and product inquiries, using anin house order processing system.Communicate with sales personnel regardingorder details including product availability, delivery dates, ordercancellations, and order status updates. Interface on a daily basis withall levels of staff to ensure customer requirements are met.Able to effectively manage and prioritizetasks in a timely manner.Manages the back order process andconsistently ensures that back orders have been satisfied with urgency.Identifies insufficient inventory andnotifies logistics/operations personnel to ensure the procurement andequipment transfer process begins immediately.Other responsibilities as assigned.Other Responsibilities/Peripheral FunctionsHandles special projects as assigned;including participating in company committees/teams.Flexible to work additional hours asrequiredContinually builds product knowledge.Complies with all corporate policies andbusiness practices.
