Utilizes MRI patient safety judgment clearing the patient to be a safe candidate for an MRI exam. Provides patient services using MRI imaging equipment. Qualifications EDUCATION: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by State of Maryland. ARRT (MR) preferred. EXPERIENCE: 1 year related experience in a specialty (ie CT scan) preferred. LICENSE/CERT/REG: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by State of Maryland. ARRT (MR) preferred. SKILLS: Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations. Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams as appropriate. Participates in meetings, serves on committees and represents the department and hospital/facility in community outreach efforts as appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned.
