Sr HR Generalist
Description:The purpose of the Senior Human Resources Generalist is to provide HR leadership and support to help achieve the Company''s strategic initiatives. To assist at all levels of the Corporate organization with Human Resource services to enhance business goals and objectives. Responsibilites:1. Provides support and guidance to Corporate clients with regard to performance management, career planning, and managing for success within the organization.2. Supports Talent Management initiatives that drive talent development within the organization (performance feedback, assessments, and talent action plans). 3. Leads the associate relations investigation process to quickly resolve issues involving ethics, compliance, and employee relations matters in a fair and consistent manner. Provides guidance and recommendations relative to corrective action including discipline and/or terminations.4. Partners with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support staffing of qualified candidates. Obtains qualified temporary staff for the Corporate office, negotiate rates, monitor, and process invoices.5. Manages and administers the immigration program. 6. Serves as the business partner with management and operate as liaison between the business and HR support COE (OD, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Benefits) to drive HR strategies that help achieve business goals.7. Provides oversight for the development, interpretation, and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ensures fair and consistent application across all functions and levels. 8. Provides oversight and coordination for Corporate Associate Engagement. 9. Acts as project manager for ad hoc projects.Required Experience:Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Human Resources related field of study or 4 years equivalent work experience and 5 years of HR generalist experience. Strong track record of HR business partnership driving talent within the organization.Experience with Talent Management processes and tools required and a fundamental understanding of Total Rewards strategies and processes including compensation and recognition.Must also have a solid understanding of state and federal employment law, OFCCP, and compliance matters. Credentials or licensing required for dealing with confidential matters along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook necessary. High degree of demonstrated business acumen.Preferred Experience:MS degree preferred. One - two years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
