Job Description:
Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the eHospital - Telemetry Unit!

This position is Flexi Night Shift, working one-twelve hour shift per week.


Registered Nurse will need experience in PCU, ICU or Stepdown.
Will interact with Nurses and Telemetry Techs
Must have strong understanding of monitoring rhythms, checking charts, and good leadership skills

The eHospital RN provides tele-nursing care to a diverse patient population of acutely ill patients, acting as an advocate, guide, and resource for the medical/surgical bedside RN's. The Registered Nurse develops, implements and evaluates plans of care for specific patient populations. Coordinates and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care. Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

Education Level
RN-Associate's Degree OR
RN-Diploma (Non-degree)

Experience
Required: Nursing - 3 years, Nursing Leadership - Previous experience

Preferred: None, unless noted in the “Other” section below

License
Required: Basic Life Support, Registered Nurse

Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Skills
None, unless noted in the “Other” section below

Other
BSN or MSN preferred. All Registered Nurses who do not have their BSN will be required to sign a BSN Agreement committing to successfully obtain their BSN within 5 years of hire.
